BabySteps Savings Plan
The BabySteps Savings Plan is a program that jump-starts families into saving for their children's education, vocational training, and apprenticeship costs. Families who open a MEFA U.Fund 529 education savings account within one year of their children’s birth or adoption will receive a free $50 seed deposit to start saving for their future. BabySteps is a collaboration between the State Treasurer’s Office of Economic Empowerment and the Massachusetts Educational Financing Authority (MEFA) aimed at preparing families to plan for their children’s post-secondary future. Help with Special Education Supports and Services

The De Novo Center for Justice and Healing provides high-quality, free civil legal assistance to low-income people living in Greater Boston, and to immigrants and refugees statewide.
