One Family aims to prevent homelessness and break the cycle of family poverty in Massachusetts by promoting pathways to economic independence through
advocacy, education, and innovation.
One Family envisions a Commonwealth where all families have secure housing, access to education leading to employment, and the ability to build assets to create a brighter future. We believe that if policies are focused on prevention and programs are designed to promote opportunities, then we can end family homelessness in Massachusetts.

One Family became a lifesaver and an empowering force for me. It provided me with the support to obtain an education and enabled me to plan my son's future in brighter colors. Most importantly, this program helped me be a role model for my son."

One Family pairs our Public Policy work with two programs that directly serve families experiencing or at risk of homelessness: One Family Scholars and Credential to Career Coaching. This approach has an incredible impact in the lives of individual families, as well as our state-wide systems and policies.
Working at One Family means becoming a part of a committed and driven team that serves families experiencing or at risk of homelessness across the state of Massachusetts. Together, we have a great time working for a great cause.
