Free Money In Your Pocket
Thousands of dollars could be waiting for you, in the form of "refundable tax credits" - i.e., state and federal tax credits that actually put money right in your pocket (or your bank account). All you have to do is file your state and federal tax returns, even if you typically don't earn enough to be required to file. Filing your tax return costs nothing, and free help is available. To claim your money, start by visiting findyourfunds.org. Examples: Family with one child = you may be entitled to receive up to $7,503. Family with two children = you may be entitled to receive up to $13,066. Family with three children = you may be entitled to receive up to $16,132. Note: These are the maximum dollar amounts for families with one, two and three children - you may qualify for less than the maximum.
