Housing discrimination

In Massachusetts it is illegal for a landlord, broker, real estate agent or seller to refuse to rent or sell an apartment or house to someone on the basis of their race, religion, skin color, national origin, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, ancestry, marital status or military status, or because the renter or buyer has a child, has a housing voucher, or is on public assistance.

If you believe that you are or may be the victim of illegal discrimination on the part of a landlord, rental agent, real estate agent or seller, please contact the Suffolk University School of Law Housing Discrimination Testing Program intake line at 617-884-7568.
